📖 Verse of the Day
“I even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou shouldest be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;” — Isaiah 51:12 KJV
📚 Lesson of the Day
God reminds us of who He is, and then He asks why we would be afraid of a person who is going to die someday, the same as us. Every man is here today and gone tomorrow. God is here eternally. He is the One to comfort you. Therefore, don’t stress over what a person can do to you. Be comforted in the fact that God will always be with you. He is the only One to fear.
💭 Encouragement of the Day
Today, tell yourself that it doesn’t matter who causes you distress, whether it is a boss, husband, co-worker, or even the government; Fear of man is misplaced fear. God will comfort you. You don’t have to earn it or fix everything first. He just is the one who comforts. That is His identity; let Him do it.
🙏 Prayer of the Day
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being an everlasting God. Thank You for giving us comfort that removes fear of anyone. God, You are the Only One to fear. Help us to remember that man is man and therefore here today and gone tomorrow, but You are everlasting, and we can put our trust in You. In Jesus Christ’s name we pray, amen.
