Verse of the Day
"So you should look for the Lord before it is too late. You should call to him now, while he is near."
Isaiah 55:6 ERV
Lesson of the Day
God has given everyone an opportunity to accept the truth that He sent His only son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. All we have to do is believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. This verse says that we should look for Him before it is too late. That means that we will eventually run out of time to choose God. No one knows the hour that we die nor when Jesus Christ will return. When either one of those happen, time is up. There's no middle ground—we are either with Jesus or apart from Him.
Encouragement
The good news is that God is so merciful and long suffering. He will give you the opportunity to accept this gift. Titus 2:11 states, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." And 2 Peter 3:9 says the Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Therefore, be cheerful. God wants you to be a part of His family.
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father, You are awesome, fair, merciful, and long suffering. You care enough about us to ensure that we get the opportunity to be with You for eternity. Your love and kindness are much more than we deserve. You already sent Your Son Jesus Christ to die for our sins, and You call us to place our full trust and faith in You in order to be with You in Heaven for eternity. I pray that all accept Your call. Let not time run out on anyone praying this prayer. Thank You for being a loving Father. In Jesus Christ's name I pray amen.
